Biologist - Translator - Trilingual
My name is Ylenia Vimercati, I was born and raised in Italy. I have a Specialization’s degree in Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology. I am committed to the wellbeing of wildlife and the environment.
My passion for the living world and its extraordinary wonders gave the opportunity to take part in several scientific and conservation projects that saw me involved in the protection of endangered species and in sharing the conservation message with the public. I believe outreach is a key tool to increase people’s interest in nature protection.
I am a travel enthusiast. To me travelling means to explore, to learn directly from our greatest teacher: nature. I have been publishing articles and photos, along with naturalistic drawings, of my expeditions to spread curiosities, findings and experiences with as many people as possible.
I am an Italian mother tongue translator for an environmental journalism platform where I can combine my passion for linguistics with science.
Never stop being curious.
Nature's always got something to tell you!
