ANDALUCIA. SPAIN
Mezquita de Cordoba. Andalucia, Spain (YV)
In July 2016 my sister and I flew to southern Spain, rent a car, and explored the hot Andalucia. Despite the high temperatures that hit this region during summer season, the air is dry and a pleasant slight wind constantly blows. The region is rich in history as we can see from the incredible architecture left by the Romans and especially the Moors, with its bright colors and complex network of fountains and pool. We could also get closer to Andalucia’s nature and caves by visiting Doñana National Park, exploring the Rock of Gibraltar with its curious macaques, and admiring the majestic Caves of Nerja.
