In November 2011, while pursuing my Bachelor’s thesis internship in Colorado, I took a week off and flew to Tucson (Arizona) to explore the astonishing parks of the south.
After a short visit to Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon, I headed towards New Mexico and stopped in Chiricahua National Monument. The Park offers beautiful trails where visitors can admire stone column formations caused by a massive volcanic eruption of millions of years ago. |
Read my article (in Italian) published in La Rivista della Natura to gain some tips to discover the wonders of White Sands National Monument.
