October was a perfect month to visit Utah and its wonderful parks. In Arches National Park, a couple of friends and I, did many long hikes under a blue sky and warm sun. There we experience the beauty of natural sandstone arches, breathtaking views, and nothing more than an uncontaminated landscape. Then we drove to Moab and Dead Horse Point State Park where we enjoyed a beautiful hike trail that leads to a spectacular viewpoint of the Colorado River. In Canyonlands National Park we explored its desert landscape: a flat mesa lifting up from canyons carved by the Colorado River.
